Daniel’s practice spans a wide range of contentious matters, including family disputes, contractual litigation, real estate issues, and civil claims involving both individuals and businesses. Prior to being called to the Bar, Daniel was enrolled in undergraduate studies at McMaster University, where he majored in Sociology with a minor in Psychology. He later obtained his law degree from the University of Surrey, where he focused his studies on family law, tort law, and civil litigation.
Throughout his legal career, Daniel has completed a number of legal internships with reputable firms, gaining early exposure to immigration, family, and civil litigation matters. These experiences provided him with a strong foundation in litigation procedure, case preparation, and client advocacy across multiple areas of law.
Daniel further developed his litigation skills during his articles at a boutique litigation firm in downtown Toronto, where he worked primarily on contested and high-conflict matters. This experience strengthened his ability to manage complex disputes and advance cases through all stages of the litigation process.
In his family law practice, Daniel represents clients in matters involving parenting disputes, decision-making responsibility, child and spousal support, property division, and separation-related issues. He also assists clients with various family law proceedings, including divorce applications, corollary relief proceedings, and motions to change. In addition, he advises clients on negotiated resolutions and assists with the drafting and finalization of domestic contracts, including separation agreements, marriage contracts, and cohabitation agreements.
In his civil litigation practice, Daniel acts in disputes involving breach of contract, real estate litigation, defaulted loans, and tort-based claims. He regularly assists clients in resolving disputes arising from failed real estate transactions, commercial disagreements, and other civil wrongs, guiding matters from early assessment through to resolution or trial where necessary.
Daniel routinely appears before the Ontario Court of Justice and the Superior Court of Justice for conferences, motions, and trials. He is committed to providing practical, strategic, and client-focused representation across both family and civil litigation matters, with a focus on achieving clear and efficient outcomes.
